“Orchids of Singapore Botanic Gardens and Their Heritage" exhibition

Although this exhibition is over but fret not, you can still view them in the National Orchid Garden which is located in the Singapore Botanic Gardens as well. Other then the Vanda Miss Joaquim which I shared last week, this week I am sharing other orchids which I personally like.
Dendrobium Magraret Thatcher named after the late ex-British PM Thatcher. The petals were twisting like my favorite snack!

Papilionanda William Catherine is named after The Duke and Duchess, more commonly referred to as William and Kate . Loves the polka dots

Anguloa Clowesii, a species of orchid that looked like tulip

Phaiocalanthe Kryptonite, Chariots of Fire, looks exactly like its name! Purple fire!

A certain unnamed hybrid, I love the green pointed petals. The colour combination is quite unique.

Papilionanda John Clubb, this look pretty like our national flower but it is not. (Shape of lip is different)

Psychopsis Mariposa has a very unique shape too!
Vanda Doctor Goh Keng Swee and Aranda Lee Kuan Yew
I didn't get to see the orchid named after Mdm Kwa Geok Choo but I will definitely visit the National Orchid Garden some day to visit it.
